DARK THOUGHTS, a new single, is out September 24
Syler Dane is releasing a new single, DARK THOUGHTS, on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
'An exploration into the unspoken', DARK THOUGHTS is the second song from the upcoming EP 'HYPOXIA'. Inspired by a phone call with a family member who broke down about a life wasted, these songs are a deep dive into the dark corners of human condition. Going into life-long regrets, loss & what makes us so afraid.
Mixing warm analog synths, guitars and piano, with cold digital altering and effects, this is a sonic journey into the mind of someone who has lost it all. A nostalgic expression of change, somewhere between Father John Misty and Harry styles, DARK THOUGHTS was written, performed and produced by Syler in his home studio in Bailey, Colorado.
It will be on Spotify and YouTube on release day. Other streaming services will follow.
To mark the occasion there is a maze on this website. Can you make it out?
More on HYPOXIA soon.
